International sports lawyer who appears regularly before the "Supreme Court for Sport," the Court of Arbitration for Sport, in Lausanne, Switzerland, in addition to appearing before international and domestic sports arbitral bodies. Paul has represented clients from more than 70 countries and more than 70 different sports, even representing an Olympic gold medal-winning horse. Paul has prevailed in some of the highest-profile sports matters of the past decade, successfully representing athletes, sport federations and national Olympic committees. 

Career

Paul founded Global Sports Advocates in 2014 after practicing at several New England law firms. Paul was first recognized by Chambers as a Sports Law "Associate to Watch" in 2011. Paul has been recognized by Chambers as a leading sports lawyer for the past thirteen years.

Publications

Paul is a well-known speaker and author in the field of sports law and has taught at various law schools in both the U.S. and Europe. His recent article, Contamination & Doping: Is the UFC's Approach To 'Reporting Limits' Fairer Than WADA's? appeared in LawInSport.

Personal

Paul lives in Portland, Maine where Global Sports Advocates is headquartered. He is a lifelong runner who still enjoys early morning jaunts with his running partners.
