Kayley Cheyenne Leon
Kayley is an Associate at Hicks Morley LLP, working out of the Toronto office.
As a dual-licensed lawyer in both Canada (Ontario) and the U.S. (California), her experiences on both sides of the border assists her in advising U.S. employers entering the Canadian regulatory landscape.
Kayley is uniquely positioned to represent clients in the sports space. She has broad experience in sports law and is a passionate representative and advisor for sports organizations at all levels with respect to Rules of Play, Safe Sport (UCCMS), concussion protocol, doping, governance, arbitrations, litigation and other matters.
Outside of her practice, Kayley serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame and Museum, which celebrates and enhances the awareness of Canada’s skiing and snowboarding traditions and accomplishments. Kayley is also a member of the Sports Lawyers Association and sits on the Communications Committee of Women in Sports Law.
