Giovanni Maria Fares

Giovanni is a Swiss-qualified lawyer with extensive experience in arbitration and sports law. He joined the Gymnastics Ethics Foundation from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), where he has served as Counsel for the past five years. His strong background in integrity and disciplinary matters, combined with his deep understanding of governance and institutional processes, will be instrumental in further strengthening the Foundation’s mission and impact and elevating it to the next level.
