Emma is an associate in the Technology and Intellectual Property team at TLT LLP, specialising in technology contracts and data protection.

Emma advises on a wide range of data protection, cyber security and e-privacy matters. She has run several large-scale GDPR compliance and contract remediation projects and has extensive experience of advising on data protection compliance issues. She is also experienced in handling subject access requests and data subject rights issues; negotiating data processing and data sharing agreements; handling data protection breaches; advising on direct marketing requirements; and advising on cookies compliance.

Emma drafts, advises on and negotiates a range of IT contracts, including software development and licensing agreements; cloud services agreements; and a range of IT services agreements.

Emma has spent six months on secondment to the legal privacy team of a large bank. She regularly speaks at conferences and seminars and provides training to a range of organisations.
