Karol is an Advocate and Senior Associate at Dentons’ Warsaw office.

 

He is an expert in the technology and media sectors. He advises to major broadcasters, cable and satellite operators, audio-visual producers, game producers and telecoms. He advises in particular on legal compliance and rights clearance matters.

He advised on a number of projects related to the EURO 2012 tournament organized jointly by Poland and Ukraine. In particular, he advised one of the main sponsors of the tournament on sponsorship agreements with Polish football players, EURO 2012 related online promotions and production of EURO 2012 related TV programs.

 

 

Karol has published a number of articles on media and IP related matters, e.g., on product placement regulations and public viewing of premium sports events in pubs.
