Nick is a Partner at Lewis Silkin.  He specialises in intellectual property disputes as well as advising on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. Having lived and worked in China, he is proficient in Mandarin and is Lewis Silkin's China Desk Lead for IP & Technology. His focus is on protecting, exploiting and enforcing a range of intellectual property rights, including trade marks, copyright, patents, designs and confidential information.

He has particular expertise in protecting and enforcing brands and he acts for clients in many different sectors including retail, manufacturing, engineering, media, financial and technology. As an experienced dispute resolution lawyer, he advises on cases in the High Court (including the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court), the Court of Appeal, UKIPO, EUIPO (including the Board of Appeal) and the EU General Court, as well as international arbitration.
