Tom is a Senior Associate in the London Corporate team at Herbert Smith Freehills specialising in venture capital and mergers and acquisitions with a particular focus on the Sport, Media and Life Sciences sectors. Tom has particular experience advising clients in early stage investment rounds, acting both for investors and companies raising capital, with a particular focus on the life sciences, sport and media and entertainment sectors.

He also has worked extensively on M&A transactions, acting for both buyers and sellers: in the sports sector, including in respect of the purchase of football clubs; in the media and entertainment sector in respect of the disposal of film and television companies; the betting and gaming sector, and life sciences and biotech sectors on the acquisition of portfolio companies.
