
Tomás Navarro Blakemore
Tomás is an attorney at MLL Legal. His work spans all areas of international dispute resolution, with a focus on international commercial and sports arbitration. He also advises private clients, non-profit organisations and social enterprises on structuring, governance and fundraising.
In particular, Tomás has been involved as counsel, arbitrator and secretary to the arbitral tribunal in several commercial and sports arbitration proceedings under various institutional rules (Swiss Rules, ICC, CAS, LCIA, UNCITRAL, CAM), as well as in ad hoc proceedings. He also advises on contractual matters, negotiations, mediations, annulment proceedings and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards before Swiss courts and has also acted before the European Court of Human Rights representing a football club.
Tomás is the current vice president of the Swiss Chapter of the Club Español de Arbitraje and is a co-author of Swiss Rules of Arbitration: Commentary (Commentary on Articles 12 and 13). He holds a double degree in law and political science from the University of Granada (2011) and pursued an LL.M. in international dispute settlement (MIDS) from the University of Geneva and the Geneva Graduate Institute (2015). Tomás is admitted to the Spanish and Swiss bars.
