As a commercial partner and data protection specialist, Fiona provides strategic commercial advice and assists clients with the full range of commercial agreements, including sponsorship, outsourcing arrangements, joint ventures and collaborations, and Terms & Conditions of sale/venue hire. She can also advise on the use of customer/fan data to maximise engagement, in compliance with data protection regulations.
Fiona’s experience in the sports sector predominantly comes from her work with sports clubs and venues. A recent example of how she supports clients includes acting on a high-end catering contract under which a club restaurant would be operated by a well-known chef. The contract included brand protection for both the club and the chef, along with operating rules and agreed payment terms.
In addition to supporting clients in the sports sector, Fiona has experience in the travel sector and can advise clubs who are looking to offer travel packages to fans for domestic and international away games and competitions on their compliance with the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
Outside of work, Fiona has a love of sport. She is a regular tennis and squash player and can often be found during summer months watching cricket.
