Angélique Richardson

Angélique is an associate in the Sports & Entertainment team at Lawrence Stephens and acts for a number of clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters.

As a former athlete competing in Synchronised Swimming and Finswimming as well as a qualified Synchronised Swimming coach, Angelique is able to bring a unique perspective to her practice. Having spent five years dealing with high-profile, multi-million-pound litigation at her previous firm, she is level-headed, tenacious and is now a trusted advisor to a number of notable sporting clients in a range of sports including boxing, basketball and football.

Angélique’s expertise includes advising clients across a wide range of matters, including regulatory, anti-doping, safeguarding and disciplinary matters, in addition to assisting on non-contentious matters including takeovers and acquisitions of sports clubs and commercial agreements.
