Anti-Corruption in Sport Seminar
This seminar will provide insights into how sports organisations can implement effective anti-corruption policies, and cover key developments and cases including:
- World Cup and political interference;
- The recent judgement of the CJEU, C-474/24 NADA Austria and Others, regarding the online publication of the names of professional athletes who have infringed anti-doping rules;
- Developments in sports betting;
- Current challenges running investigations and prosecutions, and
- Integrity functions and their role in supporting transparent and fair elections for sports bodies.
The seminar will also provide attendees with a short interactive case study as a working example of a sports betting investigation and prosecution.
