Miami, FL – Concacaf has announced that its Appeals Committee has considered an appeal submitted by the Mexican Football Federation. This follows the suspensions imposed by the Concacaf Disciplinary Committee on players Cesar Montes and Gerardo Arteaga for on-field player misconduct that took place during their 2022/23 Concacaf Nations League (CNL) Semifinals in Las Vegas on June 15.

After due consideration of the evidence presented by the Mexican Football Federation, the Appeals Committee has upheld the original decision made by the Disciplinary Committee, meaning the two players must fully serve the imposed suspensions.
