FTC Orders HISA to Resume Anti-Doping and Medication Control Program May 22

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) today ordered the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority’s (HISA) Anti-Doping and Medication Control (ADMC) Program to resume implementation on May 22, 2023. The Program was previously paused by a federal court order to allow for a procedural waiting period shortly after its initial implementation upon FTC approval on March 27, 2023.
HISA looks forward to the resumption of the ADMC Program on May 22 under the administration of the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU).
