Preston North End FC’s Ryan Lowe has been given a two match touchline ban and £5,000 fine for two breaches of FA Rule E3 that took place at their EFL Championship match against Birmingham City FC on Saturday 3 September 2022.

The manager admitted that he used abusive and insulting words towards a match official both at the end of this fixture and following his dismissal.

An independent Regulatory Commission imposed these sanctions during a subsequent hearing, and the written reasons for their decisions will be published in due course.
