WADA seeks Proficiency Testing Sample Provider as part of its External Quality Assessment Scheme
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), as a Proficiency Testing Provider, is seeking a tenderer to enter into a contractual agreement to serve as a Proficiency Testing Sample Provider for the purpose of preparation, characterization, packaging, and distribution of biological samples* to WADA anti-doping laboratories worldwide as part of WADA’s External Quality Assessment Scheme (EQAS).
WADA encourages organizations that are interested in submitting a tender to:
- Consult the linked document outlining the requirements of the WADA Proficiency Testing Program, as well as the conditions for the tender submission and evaluation criteria; and
- Submit a tender, in English or French, by close of business (17:00 EST) on Friday 16 January 2026.
The decision regarding the successful tenderer will be taken in March 2026 by the WADA Executive Committee.

- Mainly human urine samples, but may also include human blood, namely venous blood, blood components (serum, plasma), or Dried Blood Spot (DBS) on certain occasions during the contract period.
