Reduction of bans against Simani and Romero
The President of the Disciplinary Committee of the SFL, acting as a single judge, called the appeals by FC Luzern and AC Bellinzona against the 4 game suspensions for Denis Simani and Franco Romero , who were sent off the field on March 24, 2023 in a friendly game because of an assault in the context of a pack formation , partially good. He judges the actions of the two defenders to be minor assaults and therefore reduces the penalty to 3 games. Because Simani and Romero have already served a game, they are still suspended for the next two competitive games of their respective teams. This decision is final for the Swiss Football League authorities.
