Swimming athlete, Alec Page, suspended for the presence of Probenecid
July 8, 2014 – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Alec Page, a swimming athlete, received a sanction of one month for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during in-competition doping control on April 5, 2014, revealed the presence of probenecid, a prohibited masking agent.
