The Court Of Arbitration For Sport (CAS) Opens Two Temporary Offices In Japan For The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is preparing to open two temporary offices in Japan for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (the Games). The first, the CAS Ad Hoc Division, will resolve any legal disputes that arise during the Games. This temporary tribunal has operated at every edition of the Summer and Winter Olympic Games since 1996, as well as at other major sporting events. The CAS Ad hoc Division will be able to render decisions within 24 hours in case of urgent matters.
