The Final Eight: SLAM 2026 Quarter-Finalists Confirmed for CAS

The 7th Edition of the Sports Law Arbitration Moot (SLAM 2026), organised by LawInSport,  presented by Kellerhals Carrard, has reached its decisive final stage. Following rigorous evaluation of written submissions and oral advocacy in the qualification and regional rounds, 8 teams from 6 countries advance to the in-person rounds of the competition at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 23–24 April 2026.

All of the judges across the Round of 16 made great efforts to stress that each team, regardless of the outcome, demonstrated outstanding skills and commitment, contributing to the vibrant spirit of the competition.

The universities whose teams have advanced to the in-person quarter-finals are:

In recognition of their outstanding achievements, the winning team will receive a prize of £1,500, with £1,000 awarded to the runners-up.

Path to the Court of Arbitration for Sport

16 teams from 10 countries had qualified to the Regional Oral Finals out of 77 teams from 30 countries. The Regional Oral Finals were judged by panels of 3 CAS Arbitrators each.
