U SPORTS Football Athlete Suspended for Presence of Five Substances

(Ottawa, Ontario – December 14, 2017) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Wade Cyr, a U SPORTS football athlete, received a four-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during in-competition doping control on August 31, 2017, revealed the presence of five prohibited substances: SARM S-22, SARM LGD-4033, drostanolone, GW501516 and letrozole.
