CONMEBOL SUMA and Fundación Prodigio sign agreement for children's oral health
- This is the first health agreement for the CONMEBOL SUMA Fútbol 360° Program with the aim of strengthening the oral health of the children participating in the program.
The South American Football Confederation and the Prodigio Foundation will sign a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening the oral health subcomponent of the CONMEBOL SUMA Fútbol 360° Program, a comprehensive development initiative aimed at girls and boys between 8 and 12 years old.
The signing ceremony took place at CONMEBOL headquarters and was attended by authorities from both institutions, including José Manuel Astigarraga, Secretary General of CONMEBOL; Monserrat Jiménez, Legal Director and Deputy Secretary General; and Eng. Ignacio Ortellado, President of the Prodigio Foundation.
In this first stage, dental evaluations are planned and oral care will be provided to approximately 1,000 girls and boys participating in the program.
For CONMEBOL, this initiative is part of its sustainability strategy, aimed at promoting the comprehensive development of children through programs that link sport, education, health and protection.
