Marco Bürki, to miss 4 games as appeal rejected
Marco Bürki will have to miss FC Thun's next 4 official matches.
FC Thun's appeal against the five-match suspension imposed on Marco Bürki has been rejected by the chairman of the SFL's Disciplinary Committee, acting as the sole judge. The defender and captain was sanctioned for a serious foul on May 14 against BSC Young Boys .
Having already served one match – on May 17 in St. Gallen – Marco Bürki will also miss FC Thun's next four official matches at the start of the 2026/27 season.
This decision is final with the Swiss Football League.
