The ITA reports that World Boxing athlete Enkhtur Tegshjargal accepted a 2 year sanction for whereabouts failures
The International Testing Agency (ITA), leading an independent anti-doping program on behalf of World Boxing, reports that Mongolian boxer Enkhtur Tegshjargal has accepted a two-year period of ineligibility for an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV).
The ITA reports that boxer Enkhtur Tegshjargal has agreed¹ to the consequences for his ADRV under Article 2.4 of the World Boxing Anti-Doping Rules (World Boxing ADR).²
Enkhtur Tegshjargal committed three whereabouts failures within a 12-month period. The athlete accepted the ADRV and agreed with the consequences proposed by the ITA on. Accordingly, the case was resolved by way of an agreement on consequences.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility is from 10 June 2026 until 9 June 2028. Additionally, all the athlete’s competitive results obtained from the date of commission of the ADRV (29 November 2025) until the start of the period of Ineligibility (10 June 2026) are disqualified, including forfeiture of medals, points and prizes.
The agreement constitutes the decision for this case and may be challenged before the appeal division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport by the parties with a right of appeal in accordance with Article 13.2.3 of the World Boxing ADR.
The ITA will not comment further on this case.
