Michael is a Partner in the Finance group at Watson Farley & Williams LLP, working out of their office in Dubai. His practice in the football sector focuses principally on finance and related regulatory aspects and he has extensive experience in advising banks, financiers and other stakeholders in the football industry in relation to various types of financing arrangements, including secured debt financings to football clubs, discounting of broadcasting and other receivables and player transfer financings. Michael also advises stakeholders generally on the structuring, risks and mitigants of and in such financing transactions as well as on the relevant regulatory frameworks, both domestic and international.
