Aaron Mojarras

Aaron joined the Law Offices of Howard L. Jacobs as an intern during the spring of 2021 and never looked back, officially becoming an Associate in May 2021. His practice focuses primarily on representing athletes in arbitrations in disciplinary matters (anti-doping and SafeSport), salary disputes (basketball), and team selection disputes.

As an athlete growing up, Aaron knew he wanted a career in sports well before attending law school. Committed to that goal, Aaron received his B.A. from California State University, Fresno where he played rugby and developed his passion for sports law. Aaron received his J.D. from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, along with a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

While attending law school, Aaron interned for the United States Anti-Doping Agency, where he worked on issues related to anti-doping rule violations for Team USA athletes, support personnel and international mixed marital arts athletes. While at Pepperdine he worked as a member of the NCAA Compliance Department and competed as a member of Pepperdine's Trial Advocacy team.

Aaron is a California native, growing up in Fresno before moving to the Los Angeles area. When not at the office, he is usually traveling with his fiancé, relaxing with his dog, or keeping his competitive spirit alive by playing softball and basketball. He also enjoys cooking, hiking, and watching the Raiders, Celtics, and Red Sox.

Aaron is admitted to practice law in California. He is also a member of the Sports Lawyer Association.
