Adam is a partner specialising in commercial law in the sport and entertainment sectors and is our Head of Commercial. He joined Onside Law in January 2010, having spent over 6 years with leading City firm, Allen & Overy, primarily in its Communications, Media and Technology department.

Adam acts for a broad range of clients including individuals, rightsholders, agencies, established brands and e-commerce/data-driven businesses. He has also spent time on secondment at the Rugby Football Union.

Adam’s practice predominantly involves general commercial matters including sponsorship agreements, supply of goods/services contracts and agreements relating to the exploitation of data and intellectual property rights. He also has a particular interest in the fields of technology, digital media and broadcasting and regularly advises clients on app/software development agreements, software licences, software escrow agreements, audio-visual exploitation contracts and host broadcast agreements.

Adam holds a Master’s degree in Sports Law and Practice and is recommended as a leading sports law practitioner in both the Legal 500 and the Chambers legal directories. Chambers describes him as "very good at what he does" and notes that he "provides top-quality advice at a very effective rate and is attentive to in-house lawyers and shareholders." Adam is also a trustee of The Concussion Foundation.
