Alex Slade

Alex Slade is group General Counsel for the Arena Racing Company ("ARC"), the largest racing media group in the country. ARC owns 16 racecourses and 5 greyhound tracks, and represents the media rights for a number of other racecourses. Alex covers all areas of corporate governance, media rights and general legal affairs for the group.

In addition, he is also the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of the British Judo Association.

Prior to ARC, Alex was Head of Legal at the Eleven Sports Network, Head of Legal, Sport at BT Sport having joined just before the launch of the channels. Before that for he worked in kids TV at Nickelodeon. Outside interests include cycling and sailing - Alex spent a year out competing in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race in 2005-06. Alex lives with his wife and three daughters in Suffolk.
