
Christina Goodrich
Christina Goodrich is a US partner in K&L Gates’ Global Sports Practice and a litigation partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
After law school, Ms. Goodrich was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable R. Gary Klausner in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Ms. Goodrich was also a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Otis D. Wright II in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
After her district court clerkships, Ms. Goodrich then served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Arthur L. Alarcón in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In addition to appeals in the Ninth Circuit, she also worked on appeals in the Sixth and Eleventh Circuits.
During her trial and appellate court clerkships, Ms. Goodrich gained extensive experience in appeals, federal procedure, and numerous substantive areas of law. Ms. Goodrich worked on cases involving patents (including Markman hearings), right to publicity, employment, trademarks, copyrights, political campaigns, Anti-SLAPP, class actions, defamation, federal contracting, collective actions, federal estate taxes, NLRB decisions, insurance, banking, First, Second, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, Eleventh, and Fourteenth Amendments, internet fraud, prisoner civil rights, franchise disputes, bribery, ERISA, and admiralty, as well as numerous criminal issues.
In private practice, Ms. Goodrich litigates in trial and appellate courts across the country. She focuses her practice on intellectual property, writs and appeals, federal practice, commercial disputes, and labor and employment. She has represented Fortune 100 companies, as well as individuals, in the entertainment, biotechnology, social media, sports products and apparel, movie and production, diagnostic testing, beverage, manufacturing, oil and gas, real estate, electronics, designer clothing, staffing, hospitality, and financial services industries. Ms. Goodrich regularly consults on appeals in federal and state court.
