He regularly represents clients from the sports sector in proceedings before internal legal bodies of federations as well as arbitration and state courts. Furthermore, David Menz has helped international sports federations with the drafting of their statutes, other internal regulations and contracts related to the organisation of sports events. In addition, David Menz is Deputy Head of the case management at the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT). In said capacity, he is involved in the administration of more than 150 arbitration proceedings per year. Lastly, David Menz also gives Sports Law lectures at the Technical University of Munich and the German University for Sports in Cologne.
