Diego Ramos is one of the leading lawyers in privacy law in Spain and he has been practising commercial, intellectual property, corporate law, technology, marketing, outsourcing and data protection law for over twenty years.

He focuses on data protection litigation in Spain, at all levels of jurisdiction (including the National Court and the Supreme Court). His experience as an in-house lawyer for an important international consultancy firm and one of the biggest banks in Spain gives him an insight into projects that combine both outsourcing and systems management in a financial services context.

He also provides advice to a large number of clients on issues (both in Spain and worldwide) including: distribution and sales agreements, outsourcing, international data transfers, telecommunications, negotiations with Data Protection Commissioners, telecommunications, best practices in handling information management and legal implications of data protection security rules.

He heads the Spanish Intellectual Property and Technology group.
