Dr. Thomas Margoni is a Lecturer/Assistant Professor of Law, University of Stirling, UK. His research and teaching interests concentrate on the relationship between IP law and new technologies from a EU, comparative and international point of view.
Before joining Stirling Law School he was a senior researcher at the Institute for Information Law at the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands). Dr. Margoni has published extensively and teaches courses in the fields of Intellectual Property and Information Technology law. He is a regular speaker at national and international conferences, is Marie Curie fellow and conducts studies for EU and international institutions, including the European Commission, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) and the Japanese Patent Office.
