George Cottle

George read Politics with Economics at the University of Bath and worked at Goldman Sachs prior to changing careers and undertaking a law conversion. He trained at Mishcon de Reya LLP and qualified in September 2020. While at the firm he sat in the following four seats: Fraud Litigation; Real Estate; Reputation Management; and Tax Litigation. During his third seat, he often assisted in advising Premier League players and individuals in sports media.

From a young age, George dreamt of one day playing for his beloved West Ham United FC but had to settle for Millwall FC's youth team and, more recently, an unsuccessful trial at Notts County FC. The latter of the two involved him being harangued by Martin 'Mad Dog' Allen, the club's manager at the time, while he chased shadows for 55 minutes at Meadow Lane. Nowadays, he settles for the occasional game of 5-a-side when his knees, hamstrings, calves permit."
