Layth holds the position of Principal and Managing Director of Lucentem Sports & Entertainment Law in Toronto. Layth has extensive experience advising on business matters in the area of sport, especially as it relates to Provincial Sporting Organizations (PSO) and National Sporting Organizations (NSO).

Layth has also served as General Counsel for the Canadian Association of Sport Kickboxing since 2007 and also provides legal advice to a wide variety of sporting organizations, athletes and coaches. His expertise is in the area of combative sports and continues to be a trusted source that American organizations turn to when Canadian sporting expertise is required.

Layth also handles the firms crisis management group. This team is responsible for providing legal advice and trial advocacy for firm clients facing charges at all levels of Ontario courts. Layth works with clients in the area of media training and the development of crisis management plans.
