Martin is a leading member of Penningtons Manches Cooper's residential team and has considerable experience acting for owners/occupiers and high-net-worth individuals purchasing and selling residential property. Martin is the firm’s leading expert in the complex area of enfranchisement law/claims, and together with the specialist property litigation teams, regularly takes cases to the First-tier Tribunal.
A founding member of the Association of Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP), Martin is also accredited to the Law Society’s CQS scheme for residential conveyancing. He is a member of the Law Society's Property Section. He has written and lectured extensively on property tax, enfranchisement and landlord and tenant law throughout his career.
