Omar is Of Counsel with Squire Patton Boggs’ global Sports & Entertainment Group, working out of the Dubai office.

Omar has 20 years’ experience advising on commercial and regulatory matters across the Middle East.

He regularly advises corporates and government clients on complex venue projects, events management, gaming, sponsorships, policy, privatization of sports assets and more.  

Before joining the firm, Omar was a director with the legal team of the world’s largest publisher and educational technology company where he managed a team providing legal support to the Middle East and Africa operations and advised leadership stakeholders on regulatory matters, commercial transactions, risk management, litigation and anti-bribery and corruption compliance.
