Susan is a barrister practicing at the Bar of Ireland and from 33 Bedford Row. She is an accredited
mediator and international arbitrator, being a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, ICSID
Conciliator and past Chair of the Sports Law Bar Association of Ireland. As a CAS Arbitrator she was
appointed to the CAS Anti-Doping Division for the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020.

Susan is the Independent Judicial Chair of World Wheelchair Rugby, the Independent Deputy
Chairman of the Appeals Board of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Authority and a member of the
British Horseracing Authority Judicial Appeal Board. She was formerly Head of Legal and Legislative
Affairs for World Rugby and General Counsel of Rugby World Cup Limited.

Susan has over 25 years’ experience in commercial and sports law practice, sports administration
and corporate governance. She is an independent non-executive director on numerous boards
across the sports, major events and broadcast spheres. She is regularly instructed to undertake
investigations and sits in a judicial capacity for diverse state and professional regulatory bodies.
