Christian specialises predominantly in corporate, commercial, regulatory and general compliance work in the sports sector.

Christian has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions in the football sector and has advised on a large number of deals involving Premier League, EFL, National League and foreign clubs, acting on for both buyers and sellers. Recent examples include the sales of AFC Bournemouth, West Bromwich Albion FC and Huddersfield Town FC as well as the purchases of Wrexham AFC, Carlisle United FC and Hull City FC.

In addition, Christian has significant experience advising on a wide variety of commercial arrangements, including kit supply, shirt sponsorship, partnership agreements, event hire, tour agreements and general services agreements.

Christian is also regularly involved in providing advice and guidance on governance and regulatory matters, including rule changes and challenges, policy documentation and regulatory breaches.
