Daniel Kozelko

Daniel has experience in a range of integrity matters, having most recently worked defending a racehorse trainer in doping proceedings brought by the British Horseracing Authority, and has previously been instructed as part of a team to undertake a safeguarding review. Daniel has particular interest in eSports and, in the last year, he has written multiple articles for LawInSport, a leading sports law online platform, and most recently appeared on its legal developments panel at the Sixth Annual LawInSport Conference, alongside leading lights from the eSports industry. In August 2020, Daniel returned from a secondment at the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, where he was judicial assistant to Lord Carnwath and Lady Arden. In the course of that secondment Daniel worked on a number of Judicial Committee of the Privy Council cases raising regulatory and safeguarding issues, including Elefterescu v The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons [2020] UKPC 6.
