Nicolas Thieltgen
Founder and Managing Partner
Nicolas Thieltgen is the Founder and Managing Partner of Brucher, Thieltgen & Partners. He heads the Banking & Finance department, advising his clients on the Luxembourg and international regulatory context and on their financing operations. He is also recognised for his expertise in litigation and his extensive experience in shareholder disputes. Passionate about sports, he developed a strong experience in this field, advising many athletes as well as management firms and clubs. In this context, he advised several athletes and sports agencies on image rights revenues, contractual penalties and termination of contracts. He also represented before Luxembourg courts a football agent charged with abuse of company assets and successfully obtained an acquittal.
In addition to his activity as a lawyer, he is the President of the Luxembourg association promoting the banking and finance law (Association Luxembourgeoise des Juristes de Droit Bancaire “ALJB”). He is also Honorary Secretary General at the International Association of Young Lawyer (Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats “AIJA”) and was an elected member of the Luxembourg Bar Council between 2018 and 2020.
He holds a Master degree in Law from the University of Louvain (Belgium).
Sports enthusiast, Nicolas is an experienced tennis player.
