As a tax lawyer at Tiberghien with over 5 years of experience, Pieter focuses on (international) income tax issues that stakeholders in the sports and entertainment industry are facing. His work varies from advisory to litigation services and compliance work.
Over the years Pieter has gained relevant experience regarding, for example, athletes' remuneration structures, analysing athletes' (inter)national tax positions, and IP related income and sponsorship deals. Pieter assists clients with their Belgian tax obligations (both Belgian resident and non-resident athletes) and represents and defends clients in their discussions with the Belgian tax authorities.
