Reecha Patel

Reecha Patel is a forensic accountant with over 8 years’ experience conducting high-profile proactive compliance remediation and monitoring reviews across 30 countries, including emerging markets such as Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Turkey, India, Philippines and Thailand. Reecha has significant experience in supporting large organisations under regulatory scrutiny to conduct organisation-wide anti-bribery and anti-corruption risk assessments, compliance reviews and gap analysis to strengthen control frameworks. She has also helped to design and manage global third-party monitoring programmes. She has also conducted integrity due diligence reviews for corporate transactions and private equity funded purchases.

Reecha has worked with sports organisations, providing advice on financial governance and integrity frameworks and has conducted investigations and forensic audits in the Caribbean region. She has also conducted high-profile fraud and corruption investigations in West Africa with a focus on financial leakage, procurement fraud and misuse of development finance.

Prior to joining Ankura, Reecha spent 7 years working within the investigations and compliance team for a Big 4 firm in London.
