Sarah Drake is a commercial media and technology associate specialising in rights acquisition and licensing. She has worked closely with a number of broadcasters, publishers and sports media companies in the acquisition of tier 1 sports rights to develop and expand their sport content offerings. She regularly advises on negotiations with major rights holders including the Premier League, UEFA, the NBA and the FA. She has also assisted in the acquisition of a wide range of niche sports, from squash to fightsports. Sarah provides guidance throughout the acquisition process, from breaking down ITTs for the business and submitting tenders to negotiating contracts and advising on their implementation. Sarah also advises on contracts relating to the set-up, carriage, launch and marketing of sports content offerings. Media Law International 2015 notes that she is "highly attentive and thorough" and Legal 500 2016 describes her as "an absolute gem of a young lawyer".
