Sports Lawyer In Spotlight: Lindsay Brandon

Welcome to LawInSport’s new series ‘Sports Lawyer in the Spotlight’, where we go behind the scenes with the leading sports lawyers around the world to get to know a little more about them and highlight their contributions to the sports industry.
Lindsay Brandon is an associate at the Law Offices of Howard L. Jacobs. Her practice focuses primarily on representation of athletes in arbitrations involving anti-doping, SafeSport, team selection disputes, and other governing body disputes. Lindsay also has extensive civil litigation experience across various jurisdictions.
A native Seattleite, Lindsay went from working behind the bar to passing it. Her legal career began as a juvenile justice reform advocate with the King County Department of Public Defense and transitioned to sports when she took a gig writing about law and sports for a Northwest publication.
Lindsay is also an Editorial Board member at LawInSport.
We sat down with Lindsay in January 2022 to conduct this interview. We hope you enjoy the conversation as much as we did, and if you would like to listen to the audio version of the conversation, please see below.
If you have any related questions or feedback, then please don’t hesitate to contact us. If you would like to write for LawInSport on any particular topics, please do get in contact and email us at
