The Cellino / Kenny incident: what are a player’s remedies for capricious treatment?

It was reported1 earlier this month that the Leeds United owner, Massimo Cellino, dropped goalkeeper Paddy Kenny as a result of Cellino’s alleged superstition regarding the number 17. More specifically, Cellino reportedly dropped Kenny because he was born on 17 May.
