Complaints & Disciplinary Executive - Gymnastics Ireland
Gymnastics Ireland, the national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in Ireland, is seeking a motivated and organised Complaints & Disciplinary Executive to join our team. It is envisaged that this will be a full-time role with an initial 1 year contract offered with potential to extend for the longer term. A competitive market rate remuneration package including salary, flexible work-from-home approach plus standard expenses provision is offered.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the GI Complaints & Disciplinary Officer & Investigator in ensuring disputes are managed fairly & efficiently.
- Liaise with clubs, members, and stakeholders to provide efficient and professional support in the area of Complaints & Disciplinary.
- Assist the GI Complaints & Disciplinary Officer &/ GI Investigations Officers in collating all relevant data required to undertake an investigation of a complaint.
- Assist in the appointment of Panel Members for Disciplinary Hearings & provide general support to the Director Community Support & Operations & Complaints & Disciplinary Officers.
Candidate Requirements / Desirables
- A legal secretary qualification or experience of working in a legal environment.
- Familiarity with court procedures.
- A high standard of written English & experience of writing reports.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with a professional and helpful manner when dealing with our members & professional advisors.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information regarding case records in a discreet & professional manner.
- Experience in using Windows-based software application including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- An interest & enthusiasm for sport.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: 1 year initial term with potential for the longer term.
- Location: Irish Sport HQ, Sport Ireland Campus, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 (hybrid working model)
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
