Barbora is a specialist in the area of international investment and commercial arbitration. She has represented companies and sovereign governments in both ad hoc arbitrations and arbitrations under the ICC and UNCITRAL rules, and has extensive experience arbitrating claims under bilateral investment treaties.

Barbora has worked for over 10 years on litigation and arbitration teams of leading international law firms in Prague and she also served as independent consulting counsel in treaty disputes and international commercial disputes. Barbora has been involved in complex litigations and commercial arbitrations across variety of sectors, such as electric energy production, banking, real estate, gaming or telecommunications. She advises clients on cross-border issues, drafting of arbitration agreements and pre-dispute strategy and enforcement of arbitral awards.

As an arbitrator, Barbora serves in the National Arbitration Court for Sports of the Czech Republic, Arbitration Commissions of the Czech Basketball Federation and Arbitration Commission of the Czech Paralympic Committee. She is also listed as arbitrator with the Dispute Resolution for Riot Games' Esports (EMEA) and is a member of the Commission on International Arbitration with ICC Czech Republic.

Barbora holds master's law degrees from London School of Economics and Political Science and Charles University in Prague. She was awarded a Global Master in International Sports Law by the ISDE Business School, and graduated from Advanced Arbitration Academy for Eastern Europe organized by the ICC. Barbora is a qualified solicitor for the Czech Republic. She is proficient in English and Czech and fluent in German.
