Blaž Tomažin Bolcar
Blaž Tomažin Bolcar is the founder of the law firm Bolcar. After completing his studies at the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana, he continued his education in the United Kingdom at DeMontfort University, where he specialized in sports law. Blaž is an arbitrator at European Handball Court of Arbitration. He is the co-founder and a member of the organising committee for LawInSport's Sports Law Arbitration Moot competition.
He is also the head of the group at the Slovenian Advertising chamber which has prepared a white paper on ambush marketing and codified the latter in the Code of Advertising
This year, he obtained the title of Executive Master in Global Sports Governance from University of Limoges in collaboration with UEFA Academy. He is active as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana, teaching in the Legal Clinic on Sports Law, and as a visiting lecturer at the ISDE Institute for Sports and Business in Madrid, where he shares his expertise with future lawyers.
Throughout his career, he has written several professional articles and is a regular speaker at international conferences and professional events. As president of the Slovenian Association of Sports Lawyers, he contributes to the development of sports law at the national level, while also being active as a member of several international professional associations.
