Nick has considerable experience and expertise in IP, broadcasting, social and digital media, sponsorship, defamation / privacy, sports disputes and sports regulatory matters.
He advises sports personalities including Usain Bolt, Mo Farah, Sir Chris Hoy and Sir Clive Woodward, governing bodies including the International Tennis Federation and the International Rugby Board and brands such as Puma.
Nick heads the firm’s social and digital media collaboration with Richard Ayers’ Seven League.
Nick co-wrote the UK chapter of the book "Sports Image Rights in Europe" and is the author of the UK chapter of "Players' Agents Worldwide: Legal Aspects". As well as lecturing on ambush marketing on the DMU post graduate sports law course, he is a director of the British Association of Sport and the Law and a regular speaker on sports legal issues.
