In this interview Takuya describes difficulties the COVID-19 pandemic has on the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. He puts forward a compelling argument that this is the time to rethink exclusive centralised business model of the Olympics, Paralympics, and sport more generally, and move to a more inclusive decentralised model for sport.
Takuya Yamazki is a Japanese Attorney-at-Law, is the founder and Managing Partner of Field-R Law Offices, a niche sports and entertainment legal practice based in Tokyo.
Takuya has vast legal and business experience in sports both in Japan and internationally. He is was a member of the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber and I the Chairman of FIFPro Division Asia/Oceania.
