Frederick R. Nance is a Partner in Squire Patton Boggs (UK) LLP's Cleveland office. Fred’s legal practice focuses on sports and entertainment law, commercial litigation, client counselling and public-private partnerships.
He is an experienced jury trial litigator in federal and state courts and a frequent participant in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. In 2012, Fred was recognized by the seminal sports business publication Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal as “certainly one of the top sports lawyers in the country.” He has been listed in Best of the US and included in The Best Lawyers in America every year since 2001, including recognition for Sports Law in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013.
